The sun shone through the slit of the curtain splashing rays of light in different places

  "Arrgh" The strawberry blonde kid on the bed sighed aggressively turning away from the ray of light directed by the sun and pushing the blanket to shield the back of the head, resting into the bed and drifting off once more

  "KYLE" A single shout rang out from outside the room "Are you done with your preparations?, bring down your suitcases and come have breakfast so we can leave" The voice continued as the clattering of utensils intensified and then stopped abruptly. "We need to move now if you are to get to ..... late afternoon so you can meet up with Trisha and Brandon" the sounds of the kitchen ware stopped "Kyleeeeee, it's almost nine, get down here this instance...KYLEEEE" the voice shouted once more

  "Almost nine?, what has that got to do with me" the kid in bed sighed as he adjusted himself well

  "It has nothing to do with you but it sure has a lot to do with your college clearance for tomorrow" the voice sighed and went silent

  "College clearance?" The kid replied rhetorically "nine o'clock, nine o'clock., nine o'... WHAT IS TODAY'S DATE!" The kid screamed as he jumped off the bed so quickly he fell and almost sprained his ankle "dammit"

  "That's more like it" the voice from before chuckled

  "Mom, where's dad?" Kyle asked as he struggled to adjust his suit case while trying to make sure he doesn't tumble down the staircase

  "He left an hour ago..." The strawberry blonde woman sitting at the dinning replied as she passed the plate of jam to the girl sitting by her left

  "After he helped 'Kyle' pack up since 'Kyle' decided to sleep in on this beautiful day " the dark haired girl chipped in loudly as she looked over at the boy who was her younger brother

  "Mom tell Anna to stop it, I'll be twenty one soon and two girls can fight" he replied as he adjusted his bags by the wall and hurriedly took a seat at the table to eat

  "You would beat a girl, Kyle?" His mother asked as she added more food to his plate

  "No mom, it's unbecoming of a grown adult like myself but with Anna I'm just a girl, right Big sister?...I'm just your cute little younger sister" Kyle eyes sparkled wickedly as he looked at his sister

  "Come here, come here now, let me beat you" Anna stretched her hands out to hit him on the head as he sulked and kicked her from under the table just as she dragged a chunk of his hair.

  The woman watched them struggle with each other for a while, getting up from her chair she sighed as she picked up her car key and headed for the front door "Kyle eat quickly and help me with your suitcases, Anna clean up the dishes and come meet us in the car" she opened the front door and walked out with one of the suitcases resting by the wall as Kyle quickly got up after pinching his sister and walked out with his plate of food in one hand and a suit case in the other

  "We should have left this squirrel behind and let him walk all the way to his college while we explore the city together mom" Anna screamed out as she cleared the table annoyingly

  A red jeep entered the parking lot of Theatre and History art in ... University before stopping, the driver looked around for a place to park and after a while drove towards a space between a black Cadillac and a cream coloured Toyota and stopped, almost immediately two giggling adult walked towards the red jeep and opened the door of the back seat dragging out the strawberry blonde kid

  "Kyyyylllleeeeee, finally you are here Anna said you didn't want to come and she had to drag you down to the car herself" Trisha said hugging Kyle and ruffling his hair

  "Kyle" Brandon greeted Kyle while Trisha stepped aside after pulling Kyle's cheeks for he and Brandon to hug "we were just heading to the dorm" Brandon said before grinning slyly and whispering into Kyle's ear

  "What in the moon goddess name Anna," he shouted as he glared at his sister while she and Trisha laughed

  She had told his friends that he got drunk and was professing his undying love to Tiana who is the school slimy nerd and that was why he slept late and couldn't wake up early to get ready for the journey

  "Mom, I'll murder Anna one day " he seethed as he glared at his sister and friends who were snickering while helping him carry his luggage out of the car

  "Now's not the time to do that" his mom chuckled as she asked his friends to show him to his dorm after giving him his room card and for Anna to assist with carrying the luggage so they can get down quickly and be able to tour the city together

  "Be quick about it, children" Kyle's mom urged "Anna and I still need to return home"

  The four walked towards the Coel Hen Building while Brandon and Trisha told him about the places they passed through, while briefing him on the things that happened throughout the time he was yet to resume for the session

  "It's the second week and we get to choose the clubs we would be part of for the rest of the academic period" Brandon said as they went up the stairs as he stared at the card Mrs.___ gave them for Kyle's room "You are lucky you cake today, after your college clearance tomorrow, let's go check them out" Brandon smiled as he steered them toward the third floor "Poor Kyle...your room is the last one in this floor" Brandon helped Anna lift the bag and removed his hand immediately thier fingers came in contact

  "Hmmm"Trisha cleared her throat as she smirked at Brandon "Brandon and I decided to wait for you before we pick a club so we can all be members of the same club...tight family members" she said, shooting a look at Brandon making him walk faster towards Kyle room making her laugh while the two sibling gave a clueless smile, after a while they got to the room door that had loud music blasting from it which only got louder when Brandon opened the door

  "Hey" Kyle called and a boy with raven black hair and sharp blue eyes turned his head.
